A Letter From The Director
Rick Paine,
President and former Olympic Coach

"The reality for parents of a daughter who dreams of playing college basketball at any level is, they must get the recruiting process started in the freshman or sophomore year. The junior and senior year is not too late, but opportunities are quickly diminishing."

Women American College Connection: Women's Basketball

Welcome to the Women's basketball online recruiting site, American College Connection (ACC). If you are a young lady who has a dream of one day playing collegiate basketball, this site is just what you need to get started. Most college coaches start tracking potential recruits as early as junior high. However, it is not only a very difficult task for the college coaches to gather student-athlete information on a consistent basis for six to seven years, but it is also very difficult for the student-athlete to supply verified information to coaches throughout this time as well. Therefore, whether you are in junior high school or a high school senior, ACC can assist you in supplying verified information to coaches through print and video on a consistent basis until you are indeed college bound.

Attaining a college scholarship is a very rewarding experience. We here at ACC want to help guide and direct you so that you might achieve this goal. We have three levels to meet your needs (Gold, Silver, and Bronze). By signing up for any one of these programs, over 1,000 college coaches will have access to your materials and be able to follow along with your career.

Consider These Facts:

(452,728*) - Number of girls playing high school basketball

(113,000) - Number of graduating high school players every year

(1,783) - Approximate number of women's basketball scholarships offered each year by Division I and II programs

(1 in 63) - A young woman's chance of receiving a full scholarship

How are you going to improve your chances?

Kelly Kennedy, Director of Women's Basketball

American College Connection and our Director of Women's Basketball, Kelly Kennedy, can help separate you from the hundreds of thousands of junior high and high school basketball players who are all competing for the same limited scholarships. Coach Kennedy has coached at the college level for 13 years, 12 in Division I and 4 as a head coach. Kelly has 5 NCAA appearances and 2 sweet sixteens. She has coached on both Big 12 championship teams and PAC 10 championship teams as well as coached 5 WNBA draftees. With the number of female basketball players on the rise and more athletes looking for scholarships, coach Kennedy can not only separate you from the crowd, but she can put you in contact with her coaching colleagues.
