Parents and student-athletes mistakenly believe they have plenty of time to get started in the recruiting process and far too many of them don't even think about college until their senior year in high school.

Of the college coaches we surveyed, 98% of them start looking at prospective recruits prior to the recruits' senior year in high school. 73% of the college coaches are looking at sophomores and 53% are looking at high school freshmen.
