Doug is a former Division 1 All-American student-athlete who has devoted his entire professional career to education and athletics. First, Doug began his professional career as a club coach with Asphalt Green Unified Aquatics while also serving as a kindergarten teacher in New York City. Doug’s first college coaching experience was in Division 3 with NYU. NYU was a program on the rise and now ranks in the top 10 at NCAAs. Next, Doug spent three years at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio. Kenyon is consistently ranked in the top 3 of both the men’s and women’s team standings at the Division 3 NCAA Championships. Finally, Doug spent four years coaching at his alma mater, Princeton University. Doug’s background as a record-setting Princeton Student-Athlete and 2008 Beijing Olympian combined with his experience coaching at the Division 3 and Division 1 Mid-Major levels allow him to shed light on how admissions works at some of the most selective academic institutions.
